The Sandhill River Golf course is a unique par 36 course that is set on the banks of the Sandhill River near Fertile, MN. The 9 hole public course has become popular for its signature hole #4. This hole features a challenging tee shot where golfers need to place their shot in between the river and woods. Teeing off from 50 feet above the fairway gives the golfers a prestigious view and a very challenging tee shot. A tarred cart path weaves throughout the entire course allowing golfers to play in almost any weather condition. Employees and local members take pride in keeping the course nice. With four sets of tees, the course plays 6,262 yards, sports a 70.2 rating and 113 slope from the back tees. Something unique about this course is that the golfers will be challenged by hitting over the river four times as well as playing along the river on most holes.
